Answer:

2870 N

Explanation:

There are three forces on the mattress.  Weight of the mattress, weight of the person, and buoyancy.

∑F = ma

B - mg - Mg = 0

Buoyancy is equal to the weight of the displaced fluid.

ρVg - mg - Mg = 0

ρV - m = M

Plugging in values:

M = (1000 kg/m³) (0.75 m × 2.25 m × 0.175 m) - 2 kg

M = 293 kg

The person's weight is therefore:

Mg = 293 kg × 9.8 m/s²

Mg = 2870 N

The work done by an external force to move a -8.50 μC charge from point a to point b is 6.10×10−4 J . If the charge was started
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

-54.12 V

Explanation:

The work done by this force is equal to the difference between the final value and the initial value of the energy. Since the charge starts from the rest its initial kinetic energy is zero.

W=\Delta E\\W=\Delta K+\Delta U\\W=K_f+\Delta U\\\Delta U=W-K_f\\\Delta U=6.10*10^{-4}J-1.50*10^{-4}J\\\Delta U=4.60*10^{-4}J

The change in electrostatic potential energy \Delta U, of one point charge q is defined as the product of the charge and the potential difference.

\Delta U=qV\\V=\frac{\Delta U}{q}\\V=\frac{4.60*10^{-4}J}{-8.50*10^{-6}C}\\V=-54.12 V

Who was theJewish patriarch asked to sacrifice his son
juin [17]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

Abraham

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

This story can be found in the bible, in Genesis 22. According to the story, the Lord tested Abraham's faith asking him to sacrifice Isaac his son in a mountain in the land of Moriah. Abraham traveled with his son three days until he found the place the Lord has established for the sacrifice. There, Abraham tied his son and laid him on the altar on top of a wood he had prepared. Abraham  picked up a knife to kill his son as a sacrifice but the Lord called him from heaven saying: <em>"Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from me even your son, your only son"</em>
