The megaphone is cupping the area around her mouth and it is like with your hands, if you cover around them the noise will be louder. It is because it is hollow and there isn't anything to block the noise through the megaphone.

Answer:

2156 J

Explanation:

From the question,

Work done = Combined mass of the bucket and water×height×gravity.

W = (M+m)hg............................. Equation 1

Where M = mass of water, m = mass of the bucket, h = height, g = acceleration due to gravity.

Given: M = 20 kg, m = 2 kg, h = 10 m

Constant: g = 9.8 m/s²

Substitute these  value into equation 1

W = (20+2)×10×9.8

W = 22×98

W = 2156 J

Suppose a scientist conducts a series of experiments and the results are so amazing she wants to share them with other experts i
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

The results have not been through the rigorous process of peer review

Explanation:

When a scientist conducts a study and obtains results, those results ought to be submitted to a reputable journal where the results would go through the rigorous protocol of peer review.

During this process, the reliability of the data presented is ascertained before the results are published for other scientists to see.

If the results are hurriedly published on the internet, many researchers who come in contact with the work may be fed with inaccurate information.

3.00 m^3 of water is at 20.0°C.
krok68 [10]

Answer:

9m^3

Explanation:

Given data

volume  v1=  3m^3

volume  v2=  ???

Temperature T1= 20.0°C.

Temperature T2= 60.0°C.

Applying the relation for temperature and volume

V1/T1= V2/T2

substitute

3/20= V2/60

3*60= V2*20

180= 20*V2

180/20= V2

V2= 9m^3

Hence the final volume is 9m^3
