Kinetic energy

Further Explanation

Energy is something that is very inherent in every activity of life. Simply stated, energy can be interpreted as the ability of an object to make an effort. An object is said to have energy when it is able to produce power that can work.

Kinetic, Potential, and Mechanical Energy is a type of energy that is almost present in every part of human life. Its existence cannot be eliminated because of its enormous benefits for the development of human technology, especially those relating to the movement of objects, the position of objects, or a combination of the two.

Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, the energy possessed by objects or objects due to their motion. Kinetic energy comes from the Greek word kinetics which means to move. So, you certainly know that every object that moves then that object has kinetic energy.

The kinetic energy of an object is defined as the effort needed to move an object with a certain mass from rest to a certain speed.

The kinetic energy of an object is equal to the amount of effort required to express its speed and rotation, starting from the others.

Kinetic energy is influenced by the mass and velocity of an object as it moves. The mass is symbolized by the letter m, while the speed is symbolized by the letter v. The amount of energy is directly proportional to the amount of mass and magnitude of the speed of an object as it moves.

Objects with large mass and velocity must have large kinetic energy when moving. And vice versa, objects whose mass and velocity are small, their kinetic energy is also small.

Gala2k [10]

2.2 x 10^-2

0.055 / 250 = 0.00022 - This would be 2.2 x 10^-4, but the question is asking for percent, not proportion, so multiply by 100% to get the percentage.

0.00022 * 100% = 0.022% = 2.2 * 10^-2

How can I identify a salt compound is acidic,basic,neutral
Luden [163]

Salts that are from strong bases and strong acids do not hydrolyze. Salts that are from strong bases and weak acids do hydrolyze, which gives it a pH greater than 7. Salts of weak bases and strong acids do hydrolyze, which gives it a pH less than 7.

1. write the complete chemical symbol for the ion with 14 protons 15 neutrons and 18 electrons
motikmotik

Answer:

1. Si^{-4}

2. Co^{+2}

Explanation:

An ion is formed when an atom that is said to be neutral gains or losses electrons.

It is thought that a negative ion (anion) is produced as it gains electrons and a positive ion (cation) is formed when it loses an electron.

Atomic number is the total number of protons and electrons in a neutral atom.

From the information

Protons = 14

electron = 18

Net Charge = no of proton - no of electron

= 14 - 18 = -4

Mass number = 14 + 15 = 29

Thus, the chemical symbol = Si^{-4}

For ion with 27 proton, 32 neutrons and 25 electrons

Net charge = 27 - 25 = +2

Mass number = 27 + 32 = 59

Thus, the chemical symbol = Co^{+2}

Which of the following best describes physical science?
Alex17521 [72]

The study of matter and energy best describes physical science. Hence, option B is correct.

What is physical science?

Physical science is the study of the inorganic world.

Physics is a branch of science that studies matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. Physics is one of the "fundamental sciences" because of the other natural sciences (like biology, geology etc.)

Thus the study of matter and energy best describes physical science. Hence, option B is correct.
