Why are decomposers important in the carbon and nitrogen cycles

As to why decomposers are important in the carbon and nitrogen cycles, well, they are. Decomposers, as their name strongly suggests, decompose matter, more specifically dead matter and waste materials. These decomposers break down the dead body of the once-living organisms and the living organisms' waste materials to their basic state. While in the process, the carbon is released as carbon dioxide. Nitrogen is also released in the process. Either they are both released into the atmosphere or are trapped on the ground. Some dead matters don't undergo decomposition due to certain factors which leads them to become fossil fuels and their compositions are released through human activities.

The magnetic field is straight up. It is reducing . As per Lenz's law , direction of induced current is such that it opposes the reason which creates it . magnetic field in upper direction is reducing . So current will be such that magnetic field produced by it increases magnetic field in upper direction . In other words , induced current should create magnetic field in upward direction. It is possible when direction of induced current is  anti - clockwise,  when seen from above.

f) Walls of a dam are thickened near the base <u>so that the dam can handle the kinetic energy pressure and prevent itself from breaking down, which if not, can lead to flooding</u>.
