Answer:

Since momentum equals mass times velocity, a very slow-moving elephant could have the same momentum as a very fast-moving golf ball. ... m/s because momentum is conserved.

Answer:

No.

To understand the problem, we first have to analyze how momentum can be affected. Basically, momentum depends on how much stuff is moving and how fast that stuff is moving, as well. Considering the first factor, we can clearly see that an elephant's mass is significantly larger than the mass of a golf ball, despite the fact that they can possibly be moving in the same speed. Suppose that their momentums are somehow equal, this also means that the goft ball must be moving in an incredibly fast speed since p = m × v ( which is nearly impossible).

I think it is D

Explanation:

the Bohr model says that electrons whizz around the atomic nucleus in the same way that the earth goes around the sun - but rather than being bound by gravity, it is bound by electromagnetic forces.

After a surface interval my pressure group is D. I want to do a repetitive dive to 38 feet for 32 minutes. What will be my new p
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer:

New pressure group is N

Explanation:

The Repetitive Dive table has to be checked, the residual nitrogen for the maximum depth of 38 feet as a "D" diver, then add that to the actual dive time to get the total nitrogen time. The total nitrogen time and the maximum depth of 38 feet would put you on a pressure group N.

A student is doing an investigation into the masses of different materials of different densities.
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

0.0118125 (kg)

Explanation:

mass = density x volume

First, find the volume of the cube as you're already given the density. You're also given the length of the cube, 1.5 cm. You need to convert this to m since the density's unit is kg/m^2

1.5cm x (1m/100cm) = 0.015m

Since Volume = (length)^3,

Volume of the cube = (0.015)^3

Volume of the cube = 3.375*10^-6

So mass of the cube = (3500)(3.375*10^-6) = 0.0118125 (kg)

In the diagram, disk 1 has a moment of inertia of 3.4 kg · m2 and is rotating in the counterclockwise direction with an angular
nlexa [21]

Answer:

I = 3.6 kg•m²

Explanation:

Conservation of angular momentum

Let's assume CW is the positive direction

3.4(-6.1) + I(9.3) = 3.4(1.8) + I(1.8)

I(9.3 - 1.8) = 3.4(1.8 + 6.1)

I(7.5) = 3.4(7.9)

I = 3.4(7.9)/(7.5) = 3.5813333333...
