Which of the following could be possible vector directions

Physics
1 answer:

A vector in a given plane can have any direction

In XY plane we can say that its direction is

North = + Y direction

South = - Y direction

East = + X direction

West = - X direction

so all of the above directions can be considered as direction of a given vector as a vector can incline in all above direction as well and at any angle with all also

so here it is also possible to have a direction which is along 45 degree North of East which will incline between X and Y direction both

So here all four options may be the possible direction of a vector

What might be an example of Newton’s First, Second, and Third Law of Motion
ch4aika [34]

First law: A ball is stationary on the ground. It doesn't want to move, but eventually a person will come and kick it.

Second law: A car will never be constant it will have to stop then go . Objects take time to accelerate and also take time to decelerate.

Third law: If your sitting on a chair at a table, and you want to go, what do you do? Push against the table. The table will push back at you and hence, your chair moves. If this law wouldn't work then you would have to move the chair manually.

Svet_ta [14]

Answer:

See below ~

Explanation:

An object will sink in water when its density is greater than that of water, which is 1 g/cm³.

Volume of the box is 1331 cm³. (11³)

Maximum mass of sand will be 1331 g. [because 1331/1331 = 1 g/cm³]

 • Volume of sand = Mass of sand / Density of sand
 • Volume (sand) = 1331/3.5
 • Volume (sand) = 380.29 cm³

If the volume of sand is greater than 380.29 cm³, the box will sink in water.

One of two nonconducting spherical shells of radius a carries a charge Q uniformly distributed over its surface, the other carri
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

A ) The spheres are non conducting , charge will not move on the surface so neutralization of charge by + ve and - ve charge is not possible. Charges will remain intact on them . The electric field inside them will be zero . Electric field outside shell will not be spherically symmetrical . Lines of force will emanate from the surface of positively charged shell outwardly oriented and end at negatively charged shell .

B )

distance between the centres of spherical shell

= 2 a

potential energy of charges

= k q₁ x q₂ / R

= k x - Q x Q / ( 2a )

= - k Q²/ 2a

So work needed to separate them to infinity will be equal to

= k Q²/ 2a
