I am pretty sure that the the voltage(or electric potential) of battery determines b.how much work the battery can do on an electric charge. According to the fact that volts include such units as jules and colombs, it means that it depends on <span>work and electrical charge. Hope it's clear.

astra-53 [7]

When an object does not move even on pushing , static frictional force acts on in opposite direction of the applied force to stop the object from moving. static frictional force is a self adjusting force and it adjust its value according to the applied force if the applied force is smaller than the maximum value of static frictional force. The object starts moving once the applied force on it becomes greater than the maximum static frictional force.  hence the statement is true.

The charges that are free to move in a metallic conducting wire and that are responsible for the flow of electric current are
Anna007 [38]

Answer:Negatively charged particle called Free Electrons

Explanation:

Current is the flow of charged particles called Free electrons. Electrons are free to move from one atom to another and we call them a sea of de-localized electrons. In absence of any externally applied emf, these electrons are randomly moving but with the onset of emf, these electrons flow in a particular direction.

What amount of heat is required to raise the temperature of 200 g of water by 15°C (the specific heat of water is 1 cal/g°C)
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

Heat energy required (Q) = 3,000 J

Explanation:

Find:

Mass of water (M) = 200 g

Change in temperature (ΔT) = 15°C

Specific heat of water (C) = 1 cal/g°C

Find:

Heat energy required (Q) = ?

Computation:

Q = M × ΔT × C

Heat energy required (Q) = Mass of water (M) × Change in temperature (ΔT) × Specific heat of water (C)

Heat energy required (Q) = 200 g × 15°C × 1 cal/g°C

Heat energy required (Q) = 3,000 J
