4.50 * 30

What I do is ignore the decimal until the very end of the problem.
450 * 30 = 13500

Since the decimal has two numbers behind it, you start from 13500 to 135.00
Which obviously can be written as 135.

Nancy bought a soft drink for 2 dollars and 9 candy bars. She spent a total of 38 dollars. How much did each
natima [27]

Answer:

$4

Step-by-step explanation:

Because we know that Nancy bought a drink for 2 dollars, and we are just trying to find the cost of the candy bars, we can subtract 2 dollars from the drink from the total cost:

38 - 2 = 36

Now, the 9 candy bars cost 36 dollars, so to find the individual price of each candy bar, we divide 36 by 9:

36 / 9 = 4

So, each candy bar costs 4 dollars

Hope this helps :)

There are 820 people at a stadium. 65% of them are adults, 20% of them are boys, and the rest are girls. How many girls are ther
jasenka [17]

Answer:

Final answer is 123.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that there are 820 people at a stadium.

Out of which 65% are adults, 20% of them are boys, and the rest are girls.

Now we need to find about how many girls are there at the stadium?

We know that total percent can be 100%

So percentage of girls in the stadium = (Total %) - (Adults %) - (Boys %)

= 100% - 65% - 20%

= 100% - 85%

= 15%

Then total number of girls at the stadium = 15% of 820

= 0.15 ( 820)

= 123

Hence final answer is 123.
