No.  An equation may be dimensionally correct and still have some other error in it.

BUT ... If the equation is NOT dimensionally correct ... the dimensions on one side are different from the dimensions on the other side ... then you can be SURE that the equation is FALSE.

Dimensional consistency is just one of the things an equation must have in order to be true.

GalinKa [24]
It is possible for a wooden ruler to be worn out at the edge. If such a ruler is used for measurement, there will be error in the measurement due to the inaccuracy of the ruler. To avoid this, some rulers do not start with zero at the edge.

Seeing a police officer ahead and not being sure of the speed limit, a driver slows from 65 mi/hr to 55 mi/hr in 4.0 seconds, tr
Flauer [41]

Answer:

-1.13 m/s^2

Explanation:

The acceleration of the car is given by:

a=\frac{v-u}{t}

where

v is the  final velocity

u is the initial velocity

t is the time

Here we have to convert the velocities from mi/hr to m/s. Keeping in mind that

1 mi = 1609 m

1 h = 3600 s

We get:

u = 65 mi/h \cdot \frac{1609}{3600}=29.1 m/s\\v = 55 mi/h \cdot \frac{1609}{3600}=24.6 m/s

While the time interval is

t = 4.0 s

Substituting,

a=\frac{24.6 - 29.1}{4.0}=-1.13 m/s^2

Greeley [361]

A movement which keeps the distal end of the body segment fixed in one location describes what type of kinetic chain movement is known as a <u>closed kinetic chain movement.</u>

<h3>What is a closed kinetic chain movement?</h3>

A closed kinetic chain movement is defined as that position where the most distal aspects of a particular extremity are fixed to the earth or another solid object.

In conclusion; a movement which keeps the distal end of the body segment fixed in one location describes what type of kinetic chain movement is known as a closed kinetic chain movement.

Yanka [14]

Answer:

It is an example of negative feedback mechanism

Explanation:

Negative feedback mechanism is the process by which the output of a system, process or mechanism is fed back into the input in order to reduce the error in the system.

In the system described in this question, the reabsorption of water is the output, a feedback signal is sent to the control center, which is the input in order to control the release of the hormone responsible for reabsorption of water into the blood.
