How is it possible you can feel heat from the sun?
sergey [27]

there are three ways by which we can transfer heat from one place to other

1. Conduction

In this method of heat transfer heat can be transferred from one place to other without actual movement of medium molecules. This is possible in solid conducting mediums

2. Convection

Here heat energy is carried away along with the medium molecules where medium molecules can move from one place to other while heat is transferred. It is possible in liquid and gas but not possible in solids

3. Radiation

In this mode of heat transfer we do not require any medium and here heat transferred by electromagnetic waves

So we can feel heat from sun in form of electromagnetic waves and it is the fastest way to transfer the heat also it do not require any medium

Which example best represents translational kinetic energy?
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer: Option (e) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

There are three types of kinetic energy which are vibrational, rotational and translational kinetic energy.

A plucked string on a guitar  will produce sound and it represents vibrational kinetic energy.

The moving blades of a ceiling fan shows the rotation of blades and it represents rotational kinetic energy.

A spinning top also displays rotation therefore, it represents rotational kinetic energy.

A tuning fork struck on a rubber block will produce sound and it will vibrate. Therefore, it represents vibrational kinetic energy.

An apple falling from a tree shows that apple is linearly falls on the ground therefore, it represents translational kinetic energy.

Thus, we can conclude that an apple falling from a tree is the best example which represents translational kinetic energy.

450 nm of light falls on a single slit of width 0.30 mm. What is the angular width of the central diffraction peak
Andre45 [30]

Angular width is 3 x 10^-3

Let D be the distance between source and screed d the distance between coherent source then for central diffraction maxima,

where λ is wavelength

Given:

λ = 450 nm = 450×10^−9m

d = 0.3x10^−3m, D = 1m

W = 2 x 450×10^−9/0.3x10^−3*1

To Find:

Angular width

Solution: The width of the central maxima is nothing but the difference between the positions of the first two minima. Hence we will use the expression for the position of minima and accordingly obtain the expression of the width of central maxima and secondary maxima

θ = W/D

θ = 2 x 450×10^−9/0.3x10^−3*1/1 = 3 x 10^-3

Hence, angular width is 3 x 10^-3

The research method in cultural anthropology that involves living in a culture for an extended period while gathering data is __
ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

Participant Observation

Explanation:

According to my research on Anthropological Research methods, I can say that based on the information provided within the question this type of research method is called Participant Observation. This type of methodology is usually used among Anthropologists, and is defined as a method where researchers choose to live in the lives of the group or species that they are studying.

I hope this answered your question. If you have any more questions feel free to ask away at Brainly.
