We need to use  order of precedence of operators to evaluate it.

BoDMAS acronym to remember order of precedence of operators

Bracket of Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction

Since multiplication has greater precedence, we evaluate it first

33+ 1 · 9 +12 = 33+9+12

now, all the operators are in same level of precedence. so, adding them together we have

33+9+12 = 54

∴ 33+ 1 · 9 +12 = 54

Answer:

C. C = 3P

Step-by-step explanation:

C = total costs

P = number of popsicles

Unit price of 1 popsicle = $3

To get the total cost of popsicles, we need to multiply the number of popsicles bought by the price of each popsicles

Total cost of popsicles = number of popsicles × unit price

Thus, the question would be written as:

C = 3P

The answer is 90%. You get this answer by multiplying both the numerator and denominator by 5 so 18x5=90 and 20x5=100 giving you a fraction of 90/100 and a percentage of 90%.

A man bought a bicycle for $400 and sold it at a loss of 35%. How much money did he lose?
DedPeter [7]
If he bought the bike for $400 and lost 35% of his profit, you would divide 35 by 100. Next, you would multiply that number (0.35) by 400. When you do that, you get an answer of $140. In conclusion, if he bought the bike for $400 and sold it at a loss of 35%, he would lose $140 from that $400.

Additionally, if you wanted to know what exactly he sold it for, you would simply subtract 140 from 400. Which would be $260.

So, he bought the bike for $400, but when he resold it, he lost $140 of that pay. Basically, he resold the bike for $260.

I hope this helps! :) Let me know if you need help with anything else!
