Answer: 0.0075 kg/m^{3}

Explanation:

Density \rho is defined as a relation between the mass m and the volume V of a substance, body or object:

\rho=\frac{m}{V} (1)

We already know the mass of the rectangular solid m=300g \frac{1 kg}{1000 g}=0.3 kg, but we have to calculate its volume with the following dimensions:

length=5m

height=2m

width=4m

If the expression for volume in this case is:

V=(length)(height)(width) (2)

Then the volume of the unknown solid is:

V=(5m)(2m)(4m)=40m^{3} (3)

Substituting (3) in (1):

\rho=\frac{0.3 kg}{40m^{3}} (4)

We finally obtain the density of the solid:

\rho=0.0075 kg/m^{3}} (5)

gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

Water normally freezes at 0°C (32°F). Salt lowers the freezing temperature. (That is, it can remain a liquid at much lower temperatures.)

When sprinkled on ice, the salt lowers the freezing temperature of the water which effectively melts the ice when the salt dissolves into it. There is a limit to how low it can reduce the temperature, though. If the temperature drops below -9°C (15°F), it's too cold for the salt to dissolve into the ice.

When making ice cream, the salt lowers the temperature of the ice and water sufficiently enough to freeze the cream.

In what way did scientists Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin influence society? They generated plastics for increased manufacturing. T
faltersainse [42]

They discovered a vaccine to reduce illnesses, specifically Polio and Influenza. The work of Salk and Sabin has almost eradicated what was once a deadly disesase ( polio) . For example, there were 350,000 deaths related to poliovirus  across the world in 1988 and they reduced to 22 in 2017. Also, their work has saved millions of lives from polio induced paralysis

Blizzard [7]
Earth's magnetic field, also known as the geomagnetic field, is the magnetic field that extends from the Earth's interior out into space, where it interacts with the solar wind, a stream of charged particles emanating from the Sun.
