An apple bruises if a force greater than 8.0 N is exerted on it.Would a 0.10-kg apple be likely to bruise if it falls 2.0 m and

stops after sinking 0.060 m into the grass?Assume the deceleration of the apple during the sinking is constant. What is the magnitude of the force the ground exerts on the apple in this case?

Answer:

Magnitude of force = F = 33.64 N

The magnitude of the force exceeds the maximum force 8 N which apple can bear without being bruises. So, Apple will damage when it falls from 2.0 m.

Explanation:

m = 0.10 kg

h = 2.0 m

x = 0.06 m

According to work energy principle:

Change in potential energy = work done by grass

mg(h+x) = F.x

(0.10)(9.8)(2+0.06) = F×0.06

F = 33.64 N

Hence, apple will bruise.

In a tropic level, energy flows from the producer to the primary consumer and to a secondary consumer. True False
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

This is true because in an energy flow, the primary producers such as plants produce their own foods by using energy from the sun. These primary producers are consumed by primary consumers such as rabbits for food, while secondary consumers such as snakes would consume the primary consumers.

By so doing, energy flows from one trophic level to the other.

Dafna11 [192]
When carrying extra weight, the space formed between the top of your head and the two axles of the motorcycle is called "load triangle". Because of a motorcycle's size and weight and the fact that it has only two wheels, how to carry extra load is very important. One has to make sure that they are keeping the weight low and close to the middle of the motorcycle and keep the load evenly from side to side. Heavier items should be in the "load triangle".

A roller coaster, traveling with an initial speed of 21 m/s, decelerates uniformly at -3.5
liberstina [14]

Answer:

S = Vo t + 1/2 a t^2       distance traveled

t = (V2 - V1) / a = (0 - 21) / -3.5 = 6 sec       time to stop

S = 21 * 6 - 3.5 * 6^2 / 2 = 63 m        distance traveled

wariber [46]

Answer:

Alburt Bandura

Explanation:

Rosalind has learned to be impulsive and seldom waits for her turn when playing with other children, this trait she has learned from her father, who is also an impulsive man.

The theorist who would most likely suggest that Rosalind has learned to be impulsive from watching her father is Alburt Bandura. Alburt in his famous Bebo Doll experiment confirmed that children learn from the adults behavior in their life.
