Answer with Explanation:

We are given that

Mass of ball=m=145 g=\frac{145}{1000}=0.145 kg

1 kg=1000g

Velocity of ball=43 m/s

A.We know that

Momentum=P=mv

Using the formula

Momentum of ball,P=43\times 0.145=6.235kg m/s

B.Kinetic energy of ball=\frac{1}{2}mv^2=\frac{1}{2}(0.145)(43)^2

Kinetic energy of ball=134.05 J

C.Mass of ball=58 g=\frac{58}{1000}=0.058 kg

If kinetic energy=134.05 J

k.E=\frac{1}{2}(0.058)v^2

v^2=\frac{2\times 134.05}{0.058}=4622.41

v=\sqrt{4622.41}=67.99 m/s

Velocity of ball=67.99 m/s

D.P=6.235kgm/s

m=0.058 kg

P=mv

6.235=(0.058)v

v=\frac{6.235}{0.058}=107.5m/s

Hence, the velocity of ball=107.5 m/s

The_______theory of matter states that all particles of matter are in constant motion.
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

<u>Answer </u>

kinetic

<u>Explanation</u>

Matter is anything that occupies space and has mass. There are four states of matter, solids, liquids, gases and plasma. All this consist of small molecules that are in constant random motion. This is called kinetic theory of matter.

When these molecules are in motion they may collide. No energy is gained or lost during collision. The particle/molecules move in a constant linear motion.

An apparatus like the one Cavendish used to find G has large lead balls that are 8.4 kg in mass and small ones that are 0.061 kg
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

The gravitational force is 1.05\times10^{-8}\ N

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of large ball = 8.4 kg

Mass of small ball = 0.061 kg

Separation = 0.057 m

Gravitational constant G= 6.67\times10^{-11}\ Nm^2/kg^2

We need to calculate the gravitational force

Using formula of gravitational force

F= \dfrac{Gm_{1}m_{2}}{r^2}

Put the value into the formula

F=\dfrac{6.67259\times10^{-11}\times8.4\times0.061}{(0.057)^2}

F=1.05\times10^{-8}\ N

Hence,  The gravitational force is 1.05\times10^{-8}\ N

Review. A bead slides without friction around a loop-the loop (Fig. P8.5). The bead is released from rest at a height h=3.50R (b
oksian1 [2.3K]

The normal force on the bead at point A is 1 N.

According to the Law Of Conservation of Energy, the total energy of the bead at the topmost point of height of 3.50 R is the same as its total energy at point A.

The energy at a height of 3.50R is equal to its potential energy which is

U= mgh= mg x 3.5R= 3.5mgR .........(i)

The energy at point A is,

E= mg(2R)+ 1/2 mv^2  ...........(ii)

Now, equating (i) and (ii)

3.5mgR = 2mgR + 1/2 mv^2

3.5mgR - 2mgR = 1/2mv^2

1.5gR = 1/2 v^2

3gR = v^2

V = √3gR

At point A, three forces are there weight of the bead(mg), normal reaction(N), and centripetal force(mv^2/r).

Balancing these forces,

mg + N = mv^2/r

N= mv^2/r - mg

Putting the given values in the above equation, we get the normal reaction

N= 1 N

Thus, the normal force on the bead at point A is 1N.
