Answer:

The answer to your question is the letter C. 2.906 x 10²³ atoms

Explanation:

Data

mass of Lead = 100 g

The Number of atoms = ?

Process

1.- Look for the atomic number of Lead in the periodic table

Atomic number = 207.2 g

2.- Use proportions and the Avogadro's number to calculate the number of atoms.

                      207.2 g ------------------ 6.023 x 10²³ atoms

                       100 g    -----------------   x

                       x = (100 x 6.023 x 10²³) / 207.2

                       x = 6.025 x 10²⁵ / 207.2

                      x = 2.906 x 10²³ atoms

Answer:

We have 2.906 * 10^23 lead atoms in the sample ( Option C is correct)

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

Mass of lead atoms = 100.0 grams

Number of Avogadro = 6.022 * 10^23 molecules / mol

Atomic mass of lead = 207.2 g/mol

Step 2: Calcumate moles lead atoms

Moles = mass / molar mass

Moles lead atoms = 100.0 grams / 207.2 g/mol

Moles lead atoms = 0.483 moles

Step 3: Calculate atoms

Number of atoms = number of moles * number of Avogadro

Number of moles = 0.483 moles * 6.022 * 10^23 atoms / mol

Number of moles = 2.906 * 10^23 atoms

We have 2.906 * 10^23 lead atoms in the sample ( Option C is correct)

The condensed structural formula for 2,2,3-trimethylbutane is _____. ch3c(ch3)2ch(ch3)2 ch3ch2ch(ch3)c(ch3)3 ch3c(ch3)2c(ch3)3 c
Mrac [35]
The chemical structure of 2,2,3-trimethylbutane is shown as attached document. In a condensed structural formula, a branched chain is shown in bracket ().

So according to the chemical structure, the correct condensed structural formula for this molecule is CH3C(CH3)CH(CH3)2

using information about natural laws explain why some car crashes produce minor injuries and others produce catastrophic injurie
Roman55 [17]

My main reason would be momentum – it depends on the mass as well as the speed of the colliding objects. For example if two sedans travelling in a low speed bump each other, then probably the damage would be minimal scratches. However, if a high speed car crashes unto a heavy truck also travelling fast, then the result would be catastrophic.

For any microscope, the size of the smallest observable object is one-half the wavelength of the radiation used. For example, th
vlabodo [156]

The smallest observable object for an electron microscope is 6.6nm.

<h3>Calculation of smallest observable object for an electron microscope :</h3>

Given,

Speed of electron (u) = 5.5 x 10⁴ m/s

De Broglie's formula,

wavelength, λ =h/mu

where,

h = Planck's constant = 6.626 x 10^{-34} Js

m = mass of electron, 9.11 x 10^{-31} kg

λ =h/mu

= 6.626 x 10^{-34} Js /9.11 x 10^{-31} kg x 5.5 x 10⁴ m/s

= 0.132 x 10^{-7} m

= 13.2 x 10^{-9} m

It is well known that the smallest thing that can be observed under any microscope is identical to the radiation's wavelength for the smallest object that can be seen under an electron microscope.

Therefore, 13.2 x 10^{-9} m/2

= 6.6 x 10^{-9} m

= 6.6 nm

Hence, the smallest observable object for an electron microscope is 6.6nm.
