Answer : The new density and new volume of carbon dioxide gas is 0.2281 g/L and 7.2m^3 respectively.

Explanation :

First we have to calculate the new or final volume of carbon dioxide gas.

Combined gas law is the combination of Boyle's law, Charles's law and Gay-Lussac's law.

The combined gas equation is,

\frac{P_1V_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2V_2}{T_2}

where,

P_1 = initial pressure of gas = 10 kPa

P_2 = final pressure of gas = 15 kPa

V_1 = initial volume of gas = 10m^3

V_2 = final volume of gas = ?

T_1 = initial temperature of gas = 50^oC=273+50=323K

T_2 = final temperature of gas = 75^oC=273+75=348K

Now put all the given values in the above equation, we get:

\frac{10kPa\times 10m^3}{323K}=\frac{15kPa\times V_2}{348K}

V_2=7.2m^3

The new volume of carbon dioxide gas is 7.2m^3

Now we have to calculate the new density of carbon dioxide gas.

PV=nRT\\\\PV=\frac{m}{M}RT\\\\P=\frac{m}{V}\frac{RT}{M}\\\\P=\rho \frac{RT}{M}\\\\\rho=\frac{PM}{RT}

Formula for new density will be:

\rho_2=\frac{P_2M}{RT_2}

where,

P_2 = new pressure of gas = 15 kPa

T_2 = new temperature of gas = 75^oC=273+75=348K

M = molar mass of carbon dioxide gas = 44 g/mole

R = gas constant = 8.314 L.kPa/mol.K

\rho = new density

Now put all the given values in the above equation, we get:

\rho_2=\frac{(15kPa)\times (44g/mole)}{(8.314L.kPa/mol.K)\times (348K)}

\rho_2=0.2281g/L

The new density of carbon dioxide gas is 0.2281 g/L

Distinguish between the following:

Hello, Tuilps2411!!

A) Heterogenous usually is referred as a mixture, whereas homogeneous is referred to as a solution. In a homogeneous solution, everything is uniform, which means everything works together and there is nothing that will happen since there is only one phase of matter in a homogeneous solution (air, vinegar). As for a heterogeneous mixture, things are not uniform and you can pick out things that are different/same (ice cubes out of a drink).

B) Whenever you mix things together, one will be a solute and a solvent. For a solute, it will be the one that is being dissolved (sugar). The other will be the solvent, which the one who does the dissolving (water).

C) In a pure substance, there is only one particle, whereas a mechanical mixture has two. You cannot see the particles in the pure substance, but you can in the mechanical mixture. You cannot separate a pure substance (gold), but you can in a mechanical mixture (pens in rice).

D) In an ionic bond, there is a bond there because the atoms are attracted due to their opposite charges (cation who has positive charge and anion which has a negative charge). Usually happen between a metallic and non-metallic atom. As for covalent bonds, they share one of multiple different atoms. They usually happen between two non-metallic atoms.

E) Density determines how much density there is in a certain thing. It will always be D = M/V. Density = Mass/Volume. As for mass, it determines how heavy (weight) things are.

F) Law of Conservation of Mass tells how the mass of the products in the reaction must equal the mass of the reactants. Law of Definite Proportions says that a compound always has its elements in a certain ratio by mass and does not depend on method of preparation. For Law of Multiple Proportions, it says that two elements bind with each other to create more than one compound, they are usually found in small whole number ratios whenever the one element is combined with a fixed weight.

I hope I helped!! If you need more help with anything else or do not understand, let me know and I will be more than happy to help you out more. Have a great evening!! :)

Answer:

Please find the ten balanced equations below

Explanation:

According to the question, a balanced equation must contain equal number of atoms on both sides of the equation. To balance an equation, coefficients are used. The following are the balanced equation:

1. C + O2 → CO2 (balanced)

2. 2H2 + O2 → 2H2O (balanced)

3. 2Na + 2H2O → 2NaOH + H2 (balanced)

4. 4Na + O2 → 2Na2O (balanced)

5. 2Na + Cl2 → 2NaCl (balanced)

6. NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H2O (balanced)

7. NaOH + HNO3 → NaNO3 + H2O (balanced)

8. 2NaOH + H2SO4 → Na2SO4 + 2H2O (balanced)

9. Na2CO3 + 2HCl → 2NaCl + H2O + CO2 (balanced)

10. 2NaOH + CO2 → Na2CO3 + H2O (balanced)
