Answer:

Use them depending on what state of matter the element is in. E.g.

C + O2 -> CO2

Carbon is in a solid amd reacts with oxygen, a gas, and the product of the equation, which in this case is carbon dioxide is also a gas, therefore the equation would be

C(s) + O2(g) -> CO2(g)

An object with a mass of 6.9 g raises the level of water in a graduated cylinder from 25.1 mL to 30.4 mL. What is the density of
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>1.30 g/mL</h2>

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be found by using the formula

density =  \frac{mass}{volume}  \\

From the question

mass of object = 6.9 g

volume = final volume of water - initial volume of water

volume = 30.4 - 25.1 = 5.3 mL

It's density is

density =  \frac{6.9}{5.3}  \\  = 1.30188679...

We have the final answer as

<h3>1.30 g/mL</h3>

Hope this helps you

At lunch, the babysitter gives Tanya and Damien each a chocolate candy. Tanya puts her candy on her plate. Damien saves his cand
scZoUnD [109]
The correct option is B.
This question is testing your knowledge of the differences between solid and liquid particles. The particles of the solid vibrate around a fixed position, they can not move about while those of the liquid are able to move to some extent. The candy in Damien's pocket melted because it was heated up by the temperature of his body. Because the particles of the chocolate has been heated, they gain more kinetic energy and they vibrate faster compare to that of the solid chocolate.
