The answer to the question is letter 'C', water can be made to boil at 105 degrees Celsius by decreasing the air pressure on the water. Boiling occurs when the water is hot enough to have the same pressure as the surrounding air. at high altitudes the air pressure is lower than the sea level, it possible that the boiling of water can be raise until 105 degrees.

- Equilibrium shifts for slightly soluble compounds The reaction for the formation of a saturated solution of silver bromide (Ag
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

1) Favor formation of reactant

2) Favor formation of product

3) Favor formation of product

4) Favor formation of product

5) Favor formation of product

Explanation:

The reaction is AgBr(s)--->Ag^{+}(aq)+Br^{-}(aq)

The reaction is endothermic

1. Adding hydrobromic acid (HBr)

It will increase the amount of bromide ion. Bromide ion is one of the product so it will favor formation of reactant.

2. Lowering the concentration of bromide (Br-) ions

As we are decreasing the the concentration of product it will favor formation of more products

3. Heating the concentrations

If we are heating the mixture, it will increase the temperature and it will favor endothermic reaction. Thus will favor formation of product.

4. Adding solid silver bromide (AgBr)

If we are adding silver bromide it means we are increasing the concentration of reactant, it will favor formation of products

5. Removing silver (Ag+) ions

Removing silver ions means we are decreasing the concentration of product thus it will favor formation of products.

How many grams of glucose are needed to prepare 400. g of a 2.00% (m/m) glucose solution g?
Dominik [7]
The grams of glucose are needed to prepare 400g of a 2.00%(m/m) glucose solution g is calculated as below

=% m/m =mass of the solute/mass of the solution x100

let mass of solute be represented by y
mass of solution = 400 g
% (m/m) = 2% = 2/100

grams of glucose is therefore =2/100 = y/400
by cross multiplication

100y = 800
divide both side by 100

y= 8.0 grams

What do you think might be different between fat molecules and carbohydrate and protein molecules?
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

Long answer

Proteins are the building blocks of the body, each and every organ muscle and skin and cells are made of proteins. They can also be used for providing energy to the body in a state where other energy sources aren't available.

Fats are stored energy blocks which can be used by the body at its own convenience whenever there is a deficit of energy in the body. They can also be directly burnt to give energy in cases where energy needs of the body are not met by dietary intake

Carbohydrates are the most convenient and preferable source of energy in the body and are easily converted to give out immidiate energy to the body, excess carbohydrates can be converted into fats and stored for later usage as and when required by the body.

Proteins, fats and carbohydrates have many secondary functions and roles in the human body. If you are keen to know anything more specific feel free to ask.

Short answer :

Fats are used for energy after they are broken into fatty acids. Protein can also be used for energy, but the first job is to help with making hormones, muscle, and other proteins.
