When a solute is dissolved in a solvent the solute raises the boiling point of the solvent. The boiling point of a liquid (a solvent) will be higher when another compound (solute) is added, such that a solution has a higher boiling point than a pure solvent. This takes place when a non-volatile solute, such as a salt, is added to a pure solvent such as water.

What really is the Ebola virus?
Sloan [31]
The Ebola virus belongs to a family of viruses termed Filoviridae. Filovirus particles form long sometimes branched filaments of varying shapes, as well as shorter filaments , and may measure up to 14,000 nanometers in length with diameter of 80 nanometers. Viral particles contain one molecule of single stranded RNA enveloped in a lipid membrane. New viral particle bud from the surface of their host cell. Although Ebola virus was only discovered in 1976, it is an ancient virus and is thought to have split from other viruses thousands of years ago.

Answer:

18 km

Explanation:

To know the distance, you need to be clear in the concept of distance.

According to the physics, the distance is a measurement that refers to the fact of how much an object has move from one point to another.

In this case, we have a person named Steve and he's walking through several points.

To calculate the distance that he moved, you just need to sum all the values of distance. In this case, it's not neccesary to do calculations regarding the components of the x or y axis, because we are not talking about displacement, where it actually counts. But in this case, we just need all the covered distance that Steven walked since the beggining.

So, no more talk, let's do calculations:

D = 5 + 2 + 9 + 2 = 18 km

So the final answer would be:

Distance = 18 km

Hope this helps
