The ability of orange peels (OP) and almond peels (AP) as adsorbents for the removal of a dyestuff, namely methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solutions has been studied. After their characterization by different techniques (elemental analysis, biochemical analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, mercury porosimetry), adsorption kinetics of the dye have been investigated using common kinetic models cited in the literature: first order and pseudo-second order. The correlation coefficient has showed that the pseudo-second order kinetic equation best describes the adsorption kinetics for the tested materials. The experimental equilibrium data have been analyzed using linearized forms of Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. The Langmuir isotherm was found to provide the best theoretical correlation of the experimental data whatever the biosorbents tested. Using the equilibrium coefficients obtained at different temperatures, various thermodynamic parameters such as ΔG°, ΔH°, ΔS° have been calculated. The thermodynamics of MB/OP and MB/AP systems indicated spontaneous and endothermic process.

While in Europe, if you drive 123 km per day, how much money would you spend on gas in one week if gas costs 1.10 euros per lite
Leona [35]
First, you drive 123km per day, and they ask for in a week.
There are 7 days in a week, we have to multiply 123 by 7, which equals 861.
=km per week 861
Now, we need to find out how much cost the gas. Gas cost 1.10 euros per-liter, and this problem wants us to assume that 1euro = 1.26 dollars.

So, we divide 1.10 by 1.26 which is 0.87.
=gas cost 0.87 per liter.

Next, this person goes 31.0 mi/gal per stop.
To get the answer we need to divide 861 the full distance in a week and divide it by how many stops nee to be made which is each 31 mi/gal.

So, 861/31 = 27.77 and now we times 0.87 by 27.77 to get gas cost.

Determine which elements of S satisfy the inequality
kumpel [21]

Answer:

The elements of S-block elements are 14, so therefore to create an inequality model we declare S to be the unknown variable.

therefore since we have 14 elements we use an inclusive class interval from 1-14. the model is given as

1≤S≥14

Step-by-step explanation:

you have to declare variables before for the unknowns.

you also declare the class interval to be inclusive class interval or exclusive class interval.
