Eutectic point indicates the lowest possible melting temperature of the compound formed from mixture of compounds.

According to Eutectic point the resulting melting temperature of mixture is lower than the specific compound mixed.

Melting temperature of phenol is 40.5 C whereas for diphenylamine is 53 C The mean of melting temperature of mixture would be

T = (40.5 + 53) /2 = 46.75 C

First thing the resulting temperature supposed to be lower than both temperature of phenol and diphenylamine means the resulting temperature should be maximum reach upto 40.5 C.

There is a difference of 12.5 C between the melting temperature of compounds, so the lowest possible temperature of mixture would be (40.5 – 12.5 = 28 C)

As, 85 Mol % phenol is present in mixture so the resulting temperature of mixture should follow the pattern of temperature of phenol. As, the melting temperature of phenol is lower than diphenylamine and thus the melting temperature of mixture would be the lower temperature 28 C otherwise it gets to higher temperature of 40.5 C.

Thus, the possible range of mixture would be near about 28 C so to make it between 26 – 30 C.

Answer:

From approximately 24 °C and 33 °C

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, diphenylamine's melting point is 53 °C and phenol's melting point is 40.5 °C. In such a way, since the mixture is 15% molar and 85% molar respectively and this system present an eutetic point, considering the attached picture in which the Tx plot is shown, the corresponding melting point range for such mixture is from approximately 24 °C and 33 °C.

Best regards.

morpeh [17]

Answer:

Because oxygen is the combustion  fuel and glucose  is the substrate needed for synthesis of energy as ATPs during cellular respiration. Therefore Guillermo lacks enough energy as ATPs in her  body cells, especially skeletal muscles cells to complete the task of ascending the s steps.

For all the mitochondrial in cells(sites of energy production)   to receive needed glucose, and other metabolites needed for  energy synthesis; an efficient transport system is needed, so that  these materials   are available  immediately, in required amount. This system is called circulatory system.

And for the the supply of combustion fuel (oxygen) needed for the completion of the ATP synthesis mechanisms;  respiratory systems which  convey oxygen from the external environments to the circulatory system through breathing mechanisms, for distribution is needed.

Thus the  doctor needs to test both the circulatory and respiratory systems.
