Answer:

A biome that is also known as the snow forest or boreal forest is called the taiga forest. This forest is characterized by the presence of the coniferous tress.

Explanation:

  • It is the largest known biome and is known to contain the soil that has negligible nutrient content and high acidic content.
  • The limit in the organic contribution of the soil is mainly due to the cold and moist climate that does not undergo deterioration for longer period of time. Also, it adds to the thinness of the soil.
  • Accompanied by the coniferous trees, the vegetation includes broad leaved trees and some herbaceous plants.
  • The climate consists of longer winters and smaller summer season. Mammals, fishes and insects are present in the taiga forest along with the herbivores mammals.

<h2>Hey There!</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>Answer:</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h3>DATA:</h3>

Height of Aeroplane = 500 meters

Speed of Aeroplane = 200 m/s

Acceleration due to gravity = g = 10m/s^2

time of package to reach the ground = t = ?

Horizontal distance = d = ?

<h2>_____________________________________</h2><h3>SOLUTION:</h3>

When the bomb is dropped, it will have an initial horizontal velocity which is equal to the speed of the plane as the plane is just moving in horizontal direction. So the bomb fall and will travel forward.

Initial horizontal velocity is given by,

                                            V_{ix} = 200 ms{-1}

Initial vertical velocity is given by,

                                            V_{iy} = 0m/s

By the second equation of motion under gravity,

                                           H = V_{iy}t + \frac{1}{2}gt^2\\\\500 = (0)t + \frac{1}{2}x10xt^2 \\\\500 = 0 + 5t^2\\\\t^2 = \frac{500}{5}\\\\t^2 = 100\\\\t = 10 seconds

<h2>_____________________________________</h2>

<u>For horizontal distance(d)</u>:

Horizontal distance has no acceleration thus d is given by

                                          d = vt

                                          d = 200x10

                                          d = 2000 meters

A student rapidly rubs the palms of both hands
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

Option a

Explanation:

The action of the rapid rubbing of the hands are a result of chemical reaction and responses that takes place inside our body.

When we rub our hands together, that shows the mechanical motion of the body or we can say that while rubbing hands chemical energy gets converted to mechanical energy (here, Kinetic energy).

While rubbing, due to friction, heat is produced and hence we can say that this mechanical energy has transformed to heat energy.

Thus the conversion here is from chemical to mechanical to heat energy.

A 0.130 m radius, 485-turn coil is rotated one-fourth of a revolution in 4.17 ms, originally having its plane perpendicular to a
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

The magnetic field strength needed is 1.619 T

Explanation:

Given;

Number of turns, N = 485-turn

Radius of coil, r = 0.130 m

time of revolution, t =  4.17 ms = 0.00417 s

average induced emf, V = 10,000 V.

Average induced emf is given as;

V = -ΔФ/Δt

where;

ΔФ is change in flux

Δt is change in time

ΔФ = -NBA(Cos \theta_f - Cos \theta_i)

where;

N is the number of turns

B is the magnetic field strength

A is the area of the coil = πr²

θ is the angle of inclination of the coil and the magnetic field,

\theta_f = 90^o\\\theta_i = 0^o

V = NBACos0/t

V = NBA/t

B = (Vt)/NA

B = (10,000 x 0.00417) / (485 x π x 0.13²)

B =1.619 T

Thus, the magnetic field strength needed is 1.619 T

The milky way galaxy is the galaxy that is closest to us contains the most stars is farthest from us contains our solar system
yKpoI14uk [10]
The Milky Way galaxy is the one that the sun is a member of, and it contains
our solar system.  We're in it, and you can't get much closer than that.

The Milky Way is known to be bigger than your average galaxy, but it's
probably not correct to say that it contains the 'most' stars of any galaxy.
The estimate for the Milky Way is only a few hundred billion stars.
