Answer: 1.11 atm

Explanation:

The unit of pressure include kilopascal (kPa), atmospheres (atm), mmHg etc

Now, given that:

Air pressure = 113 KPa

Convert kPa to atm

If 101.325 kPa = 1 atm

113 kPa = Z atm

To get the value of Z, cross multiply

Z atm x 101.325 kPa = 1 atm x 113 kPa

Z = ( 1 atm x 113 kPa) / 101.325 kPa

Z = 1.11 atm

Thus, the pressure is 1.11 atm

Rama09 [41]

Assuming that the 18.8% composition is based on mass, therefore the mass of Lithium would simply be the product of the fractional composition and the total dose. That is:

18.8 % = 0.188

mass Lithium = 0.188 * 1.00 g = 0.188 g

A student thinks that halogens are highly reactive because their electrons are weakly attracted to their nuclei. Which is eviden
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer: Halogens tend to attract electrons when bonding (Option C)

Explanation: Halogens being non metals have greater electronegativities hence, attract electrons and making the statement disputed. Nobel gases are highly stable; this explains why they are nonreactive. They do not form chemical bonds because they only have a little tendency to either gain or lose an electron; on the other hand, halogens are reactive because they only need one additional electron to complete their octet.

The atomic number of an element represents the number of<br> element
Leni [432]

Answer:

The atomic number uniquely identifies a chemical element. It is identical to the charge number of the nucleus. In an uncharged atom, the atomic number is also equal to the number of electrons. The sum of the atomic number Z and the number of neutrons N gives the mass number A of an atom.

Examining the figure, how many orders of magnitude larger is a person than a bacterial cell?
TEA [102]
This question is repeated. I will copy the same answer provided by myself.

Well you did not show the figure, but I can show you how to do it.

Suppose the person is 6 feet tall and the bacteria cell is 1 micrometer in length.

So, put both magnitudes in the same units. I will use meter.

Person: 6 feet * 0.3048 m / foot = 1.8288 m, which in orders of magnitud is about 2 m

Bacteria cell: 1 micrometer * 1 m / 1,000,000 micrometer = 1 * 10 ^ -6 m.

Now divide: 2m / 10^ -6 m = 2,000,000

So a person is about 2 million times larger than a bacteria cell.

If the numbers in your figure are different you can use the same method to get a new result according to your figure.
