Positive Affects:

  1. Technology aids in the research of curing diseases or other environmental problems. Without technology, we would not have been able to eradicate diseases like polio.
  2. Technology allows us to communicate to people quicker, in spite of the distance and conditions.

Negative

  1. Over-dependence of technology makes humans lazy. We won't be paying much attention because everything is available on Google.
  2. There are health affects due to the radiation. Our vision gets weakened and the laziness can lead to physical problems like obesity and fatigue.

Light travels through a liquid at 2.25e8 m/s. What is the index of refraction of the liquid?
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

The index of refraction of the liquid is n = 1.33 equivalent to that of water

Explanation:

Solution:-

- The index of refraction of light in a medium ( n ) determines the degree of "bending" of light in that medium.

- The index of refraction is material property and proportional to density of the material.

- The denser the material the slower the light will move through associated with considerable diffraction angles.

- The lighter the material the faster the light pass through the material without being diffracted as much.

- So, in the other words index of refraction can be expressed as how fast or slow light passes through a medium.

- The reference of comparison of how fast or slow the light is the value of c = 3.0*10^8 m/s i.e speed of light in vacuum or also assumed to be the case for air.

- so we can mathematically express the index of refraction as a ratio of light speed in the material specified and speed of light.

- The light passes through a liquid with speed v = 2.25*10^8 m/s :

                         n = c / v\\\\n = \frac{ 3*10^8 }{2.25*10^8} \\\\n = 1.33

- The index of refraction of the liquid is n = 1.33 equivalent to that of water.

Someone please help me
Trava [24]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: D) Ф₂ = 49.71°

Explanation:

Data

n₁ = 1.33

Ф₁ = 35°C

n₂ = 1

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ (n₁ sinФ₁/n₂)

Process

Substitution

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ (n₁ sinФ₁/n₂)

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ (1.33 sin 35/1)

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ (1.33 x 0.574/ 1)

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ ( 0.7628 / 1)

Ф₂ = sin⁻¹ (0.7628)

Ф₂ = 49.71°

Decreases, stays the same, increases. The volume decreases because as air is cooled, the individual molecules collectively possess less kinetic energy and the distances between them decrease, thus leading to a decrease in the volume they occupy at a certain pressure (please note that my answer only holds under constant pressure; air, as a gas, doesn't actually have a definite volume). The mass stays the same because physical processes do not create or destroy matter. The law of conservation of mass is obeyed. You're only cooling the air, not adding more air molecules. The density decreases because as the volume decreases and mass stays the same, you have the same mass occupying a smaller volume. Density is mass divided by volume, so as mass is held constant and volume decreases, density increases.

Oceans receive freshwater from precipitation and rivers. Yet ocean levels do not change very much from these actions. Why are oc
Neko [114]
Ocean levels are not greatly affected because when water is deposited or received from the ocean, at the same time water is being evaporated from the ocean to condense in the clouds and them form into precipitation.
