Analyze how limestone is weathered and identify the features that are formed as a result of this dissolution
I am Lyosha [343]

Limestone is easily weathered by acid rain. When rain mixes with gases such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, acid rain is formed (sulfuric acid and carbonic acid respectively). When the rain precipitates and meets with limestone which is CaCO3, it is weathered a shown by the formulae; 2CaCO₃ (s) + H₂CO₃ → 2CaHCO3 (aq)

Geographical features formed as a result of weathering of limestone in rocks are caves, stalactites, and stalagmites.
