Juggles the clown stands on one end of a teeter-totter at rest on the ground. Bangles the clown jumps off a platform 2.2 m above

the ground and lands on the other end of the teeter-totter, launching Juggles into the air. Juggles rises to a height of 3.8 m above the ground, at which point he has the same amount of gravitational potential energy as Bangles had before he jumped, assuming both potential energies are measured using the ground as the reference level. Bangles' mass is 70 kg. What is Juggles' mass?

Answer:

40.53 kg

Explanation:

Juggles 's mass = Mj

Bangles 's mass = 70 kg

Potential Energy is the Energy that an object gets due to its height of location

Potential Energy = mass * gravitational acceleration * height

Juggeles' s Potential Energy = Bangles potential energy

                 Mj * g * 3.8  = 70 * g * 2.2

                                Mj = 40.53 kg

The lightning bolt discharge lasts one millisecond. What is the average current flowing from the cloud to ground? Answer in unit
denpristay [2]

Answer:

25100A

Explanation:

t= 1ms = 0.001s

q = 25.1C

From the relationship between charge and current , the charge is equal to the product of current and time

q = i×t

Where q = charge

i = current

t = time

i = q/t = 25.1/0.001

i = 25100A.

Why does the solar system consist of small planets orbiting close to sun and larger on more distant
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

The inner planets are smaller and rockier

Explanation:

Astronomers divide the planets into two groups in Solar system, the inner planets and outer planets. The inner planets are smaller and rockier and it is closer to the sun. The outer planets are larger , further far away and made of gas

The inner planets are Mercury, Venus , Earth and Mars. The outer planets Jupiter , Saturn , Uranus and Neptune comes after an asteroid belt. In some other planetary systems the gas are close to the sun.

particles in a disk of gas and dust will form Planets. If they orbit the star they are colliding and sticking. The stars wind blows away their gases . So the nearest planets to starts are rockier.
