Primary intention- wound healing with skin edges that are approximated, risk of infection is low, healing occurs quickly with minimal scar formation as long as infection and secondary breakdown is prevented (similar to a surgical wound) Most common = Acute wounds; minimal tissue loss = surgical wounds and superficial partial thickness (abrasions/blisters)

Secondary Intention This type of healing is in wounds with extensive tissue loss/infection & wounds in which the edges cannot be approximated (closed). Would is left open and granulation tissue gradually fills in the deficit. svetlana [45]

Answer:

Lisa's friend is binge drinking.

Explanation:

Binge drinking is consuming four or more drinks in a short period of time ( 2 hours ) in a row. For men, it's 5 or more drinks and for women it's 4 or more drinks, and Lisa had 5.

There are many different reasons why people to turn to binge drinking. Some of them are curious -- they want to know how it feels like to get drunk. Some of them believe that it will make them feel good, and they don't realize that it can make them sick and hung-over as much as they feel good at the moment of binge drinking. Some of the people look at alcohol as a way to reduce stress, but it actually ends up causing more stress than relief.
