Health

yaroslaw [1]3 years ago
3 0

Primary intention- wound healing with skin edges that are approximated, risk of infection is low, healing occurs quickly with minimal scar formation as long as infection and secondary breakdown is prevented (similar to a surgical wound) Most common = Acute wounds; minimal tissue loss = surgical wounds and superficial partial thickness (abrasions/blisters)

Secondary Intention This type of healing is in wounds with extensive tissue loss/infection & wounds in which the edges cannot be approximated (closed). Would is left open and granulation tissue gradually fills in the deficit. Susceptible to infection. Wet to dry dressings. Ex: Pressure Ulcer Associated w/ pathology = diabetes, ischemia, pressure damage in inflammation (Neuropathic, arterial, venous, full thickness, chronic inflammation) Require ongoing wound care - larger scares

The tobacco in one cigar can contain as much as tobacco in ________ cigarette
ser-zykov [4K]

The tobacco in one cigar can contain as much as tobacco in full a packet of cigarettes.

How much tobacco is in a cigar compared to a cigarette?

Cigars are bigger than cigarettes so one cigar can contain as much tobacco as an entire pack of cigarettes. Cigars contain about 100 to 200 mg of nicotine while on the other hand, cigarettes contain approximately 10 mg of nicotine which means that 10 to 20 cigarettes have same the amount of tobacco as one cigar.

So we can conclude that the tobacco in one cigar can contain as much as tobacco in a full packet of cigarettes.
