Radiation is the only way heat is transferred that can move through the relative emptiness of space. All other forms of heat transfer require motion of molecules like air or water to move heat.

  • If 3 substances be x,y,z

\\ \tt\longmapsto P_{net}=P_x+P_y+P_z

Where

\\ \tt\longmapsto P_x=\dfrac{n_xRT}{V}

\\ \tt\longmapsto P_y=\dfrac{n_yRT}{V}

Please Explain. Why does salt water boil at a lower temperature than tap water?
nexus9112 [7]
We observe that heat capacity of salted water we will find that it is less than pure water. We now that it takes less energy to increase the temperature of the salt water 1°C than pure water. Which means that the salted water heats up faster and eventually reaches to its boiling point first.
hope it helps

Why do Man holes(road) build by use only circular type??
sashaice [31]

Answer: Manholes are usually round, primarily because roundness is the best shape to resist the compression of the earth; covers are round because they are easier to manufacture than square or rectangular shapes, they are easier to move by rolling, and they can't fall into the opening.

A voltaic cell is constructed from a standard Ni2+|Ni half cell (E°red = -0.250V) and a standard Fe3+|Fe2+ half cell (E°red = 0.
tester [92]

Answer:

Anode half reaction equation:

Ni(s)------> Ni^2+(aq) + 2e-

Explanation:

Looking at the values of reduction potential given in the question, Ni2+|Ni half cell has a more negative reduction potential than the Fe3+|Fe2+ half cell. The more negative the reduction potential of a half cell, the more its tendency to act as the anode. Hence based on the half cell reduction potentials presented in the question, Ni2+|Ni is the anode while the other is the cathode.

Explain how the particles of air inside the balloon create pressure
lora16 [44]

Inside the balloon, the gas particles collide with the balloon's inner walls. ... As the molecules heat up, they move faster and strike the inside wall of the balloon harder. This increased motion of the gas particles increases the force on an area of the balloon, producing a rise in the pressure.

mark me brainliestttt :))
