Answer:

The light will refract to a greater angle but refraction occurs at the extent when the angle of incidence is less than the critical angle

Explanation:

The angle of incidence is directly proportional to the angle of refraction. This can also be seen from the Snell's law as:

Using Snell's law as:

n_i{sin\theta_i}={n_r}{sin\theta_r}

Where,

{theta_i}  is the angle of incidence

{theta_r} is the angle of refraction

{n_r} is the refractive index of the refraction medium

{n_i} is the refractive index of the incidence medium

<u>It can be seen from the formula also that as the angle of incidence increase, the angle of refraction also increases. </u>

<u>However, if the angle of incidence increases beyond the critical angle, reflection of the light occur instead of the refraction.</u>

A fixed 15.3-cm-diameter wire coil is perpendicular to a magnetic field 0.77 T pointing up. In 0.20 s , the field is changed to
maksim [4K]

Answer:

Induced emf will be 0.468 volt

Explanation:

We have given diameter of wire d = 15.3 cm

So radius r=\frac{d}{2}=\frac{15.3}{2}=7.65cm

So area A=\pi r^2=3.14\times (7.65)^2=183.76\times 10^{-4}m^2

Change in magnetic field dB = 0.26 - 0.77 = -0.51 T

Time for change in magnetic field dt = 0.26 sec

We know that emf is given by e=\frac{-d\Phi }{dt}=-A\frac{dB}{dt}=-183.76\times 10^{-4}\times \frac{-0.51}{0.2}=0.0468volt

Which of newtons laws is illustrated by a squid moving forward by shooting water out behind it? Why?
Dimas [21]
I believe its newtons 3rd law for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction since the squid is moving foward by shooting the water its pushing the squid back as its reaction. Hope this helped !
