Answer:

Explanation:

Let the resistance of resistor be R .

Power of resistor V² / R , where V is potential applied .

V² / R = 100

120² / R = 100

R = 120² / 100

= 144 ohm .

Now potential diff applied = 220 V

current = potential diff / resistance

= 220 / 144

= 1.53 A approx .

Amit has found a rock in his backyard and would like to measure its mass, volume, and density. What tools can he use to perform
pishuonlain [190]

Answer: a graduated cylinder and balance

A rock has an irregular shape. so, it would be difficult to measure using a meter stick. most convenient method to find the volume would be using a graduated cylinder. we can take a fixed volume of water in the cylinder. then drop rock into it. note the new raised volume. Subtract the initial volume from final to find the volume of rock.

Using balance, mass of the rock can be measured.

we can calculate the density using the following formula:

Density=\frac{Mass}{Volume}

Therefore, we need only two tools, a graduated cylinder and a balance to measure mass, volume and density of a rock.

Air drag is the frictional force which is due to air molecules and it is always opposite to the direction of motion

So here direction of air resistance is always opposite to the motion or velocity

Now if Car is travelling then the force on the car due to engine is always in the direction of velocity of car

Because here engine will provide the force to accelerate the car.

So opposite to that motion there is air resistance.

So here correct answer will be

B) The forward force applied by the engine
