Answer:

True

Explanation:

Let us consider a rigid body which contains tiny particles of mass dm each. and the angular velocity ω for each of the particle is same and teh radius of rotation is r.

the linear velocity, v = r ω

The total kinetic energy is given by

K=\int \frac{1}{2}dm v^{2}

K=\int \frac{1}{2}dm r^{2}\omega^{2}

K=\frac{1}{2}\times \omega^{2}\int dm r^{2}

K = 1/2 Iω^2

where I is the moment of inertia.

Degger [83]
There is still air inside of a house, which is pushing the roof upwards, so the forces are equal and the roof is not crushed.

For a star with a parallax angle of 1/2 of an at arcsecond, what will be its distance in parsec?
avanturin [10]

(1 parsec) is the distance at which an object has a parallax of 1 arcsecond. The distance is about 3.26 light years.

Another way to understand it is:  The distance from which the Earth's orbit appears 1 arcsecond across.

For a parallax angle of 1/2 arcsecond, the distance is <em>2 parsecs </em>(about 6.52 light years).

1 arcsecond is 1/3600 of a degree, 0.00028 degree.
