Answer:

10

Explanation:

The electron configuration for an element follows some rules:

K 1s2 (2 electrons)

L 2s2 sp6 (8 electrons)

M 3s2 3p6 3d10 (18 electron)

N 4s2 4p6 4d10 4f14 (32 electron)

and so on...

But you don't do it linearly, you go 1s, 2s, 2p, 3s, 3p, 4s, 3d....

And you can follow some rules if you have 24 electrons, for example, the sequence should go 1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6, 4s1, 3d5

50 POINTS! ANSWER FAST!
Korvikt [17]

Given:

The initial energy of the electron Einitial = 16.32 * 10⁻¹⁹ J

The energy released i.e the change in energy ΔE = 5.4 * 10⁻¹⁹ J

To determine:

The final energy state Efinal of the electron

Explanation:

Since energy is being released, this suggests that Efinal < Einitial

i.e. ΔE = Einitial - Efinal

Efinal = Einitial - ΔE = (16.32 - 5.4)*10⁻¹⁹ = 10.92 * 10⁻¹⁹ J

Ans: A)

The electron moved down to an energy level and has an energy of 10.92 * 10⁻¹⁹ J

Calculate the mass of carbon dioxide released when 185.000 g of copper carbonate [molar mass = 123.5 g/mol] is heated (assuming
Vinvika [58]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: 65.9 g released of CO2

Explanation:

MW CO2 = 44 g

MW CuCO3 = 123.5 g

CO2 released = ?

CuCO3 = 185 g

                            CuCO3     ⇒    CO2   +    CuO

                             123.5  -----------  44g

                             185 g -----------    x

                           x = (185 x 44) / 123.5

                           x = 65.9 g released of CO2
