The correct answer is option C, that is, they are cooler than their surrounding environment.

The regions of the solar surface where the Sun's magnetic field becomes 1000s times more concentrated are known as sunspots. The sunspots are actually many thousand degrees cooler in comparison to the surface of the Sun and comprise gases at temperatures of 3000 to 4000 K.

The sunspots seem darker as they are darker in comparison to the surrounding surface, they are darker as they are cooler, and they are cooler due to the presence of intense magnetic fields.

You have 2 moles of NaOH how many molecules of NaOH?
kaheart [24]

Answer:

12.044 X 10^23 molecules of NaOH

Explanation:

because NaOH is an ionic bond, we should be asking how many formula units are in 2 moles of NaOH, there are 0 molecules since NaOH is measured in formula units.

but for the sake of the problem I'll assume NaOH is measured in molecules

for every mol of something there are 6.022 X 10^23 of something of that something.

so there are 6.022 X 10^23 molecules for every mol of NaOH

that means we have 2 X 6.022 X 10^23 molecules in 2 moles of NaOH = 12.044 X 10^23 molecules of NaOH

What is the concentration, in m/v percent, of a solution prepared from 50 g NaCl and 2.5 L of solution?
Serjik [45]
When we convert the given mass in grams and volume in liters to m/v percent, we recall that m/v percent is expressed as grams/100 milliliters. In this case the expression becomes (50 grams/ 2500 L)*(0.1L/100ml), that is equal to 0.002 grams/ 100 mL. Hence the the concentration is equal to 0.2 m/v percent.
