ii) The speed of aircraft ( v₁ ) = 80 km/h.

iii) The wind blowing in east direction.

iv) The speed of wind ( v₂ ) = 40 km/h.

v) The angle between aircraft and wind is 90°

We have to find the speed of airplane relative to air ( v₁₂ ).

v₁₂ =\sqrt{40^{2} +80^{2} }     = √8000 = 89.4427 m/s.

The speed of airplane relative to air is 89.4427 m/s.
