Answer: The density of an object is the mass of the object divided by its volume.

Remember that mass of an object is the amount of matter that the object contains. The unit for mas in the standard international unit system is the kilogram (kg), which is 1000 grams; the unit of mass in the US is the pound (lb), which is 453.592 grams.

The volume of an object is the amount of space that the object occupies. The unit for volume in the standard international unit system are the cubic meter () and the liter (L); 1 cubic meter equals 1000 liters.

The density of an object is the quantity of mass of the object per unit of its volume. The unit for mas in the standard international unit system is the kilogram per cubic meter ().

Now, lets create our hypothesis:

If the mass and the volume of and object are known, then its density can be calculated dividing the object's mass by its volume.

We can conclude that the density of an object can be obtained by dividing its mass by its volume.

Answer:

Sample Response:

Explanation:

If the mass and volume of an object can be measured, then its density can be determined because density equals mass over volume.

"things you should check if your paragraph has this"

the “if” part of the hypothesis refers to mass and volume.

The “then” part of the hypothesis refers to the calculation or determination of density.

The “because” portion of the hypothesis connects the property of density as characteristic of an object or substance.

postnew [5]

Answer:

A physical change is the change to the physical properties of an object.

Explanation:

As an example if I take a piece of paper and cut it in half that would be a physical change. Water freezing into ice is also a physical change.

A soda bottle can be filled completely by a faucet in 10 seconds. the bottle also has a hole that can drain the full soda bottle
quester [9]

The faucet can fill the bottle in 10 seconds ... it fills 1/10 of the bottle each second.

The hole drains the bottle in 30 seconds ... it drains 1/30 of the bottle in 1 second.

If the faucet and the hole are both working at the same time, then the bottle is filling at the rate of  (1/10 of a bottle) - (1/30 of a bottle) each second.

That number is (1/10 - 1/30) = (3/30 - 1/30) = (2/30) = 1/15 bottle per second.

The bottle is filling at the rate of 1/15 bottle per second.

So it'll be filled to the rim of the brim in 15 seconds.
