Answer:

∠ CDA = 32.3°

Step-by-step explanation:

See the given figure attached to this answer.

Draw perpendiculars from B and C on AD which is BE and CF.

Now, Δ ABE is a right triangle and AE² = AB² - BE² = 7.5² - 6² = 20.25

⇒ AE = 4.5 cm

Now, DF = AD - EF - AE = 24 - 10 - 4.5 = 9.5 cm {Since BC = EF}

And CF = BE = 6 cm.

Now, Δ CFD is a right triangle and

\tan \beta  =\frac{CF}{FD} = \frac{6}{9.5}  = 0.6315 {Where β = ∠ CDA}

⇒ \beta  = \tan^{-1} (0.6315)=32.27 Degree.

So, ∠ CDA = 32.3° {Correct to one decimal place} (Answer)

Need help with this ignore what a put in the box it isn’t right
Zarrin [17]

f=6cm\\g=8cm

Why?

The first thing we need to do is find the area of the triangle, we can to that by subtracting the area of ABCD from ACBE, then, we can use the formulas to calculate the area for both triangle and rectangle to find "f" and "g".

Calculating we have:

TriangleArea=ABCE-ABCD\\\\TriangleArea=60cm^{2}-48cm^{2}=12cm^{2}

Now, we can calculate "f" by using the formula to calculate the area of the triangle:

TriangleArea=\frac{b*h}{2}\\\\TriangleArea=\frac{f*4cm}{2}\\\\12cm^{2}*2=f*4cm\\\\\frac{24cm^{2}}{4cm}=f\\\\f=6cm

Now, finding "g" by using the formula to calculate the area of the rectangle, we have:

RectangleArea=ABCD\\\\ABCD=Base*Height\\\\48cm^{2}=base*6cm\\\\base=g=\frac{48cm^{2}}{6cm}=8cm

Hence, we have that:

f=6cm\\g=8cm

If x equals 8-(-2.25) and y equals 6-4.2-(-4.9) what is the value of x-y
natta225 [31]

x = 8-(-2.25) = 8+2.25 = 10.25

y = 6-4.2-(-4.9)=6-4.2+4.9=6+0.7=6.7

<span>x-y = 10.25.-6.7= \frac{1025}{100} - \frac{670}{100} = \frac{1025-670}{100} = \frac{355}{100} =3.55</span>
