Why does it take so long time to develop a new variety of tomato

Chemistry

The most likely reason for the breeding of the tomato plants. When one mixes plants together, they have to be sure they are compatible. Otherwise, this could result in failed plants and perhaps even a new type of tomato plant which takes over other plants. Because of this, breeders have to consider every detail when creating a new type of tomato. Another reason is time. In most casinarios when you breed two plants together, you have to take a part from each plant. It could take months for the plants to breed, and they may not even end up being successful!

Electromagnetic waves with the shortest wavelengths and highest frequencies are called
Feliz [49]

Gamma rays

Explanation:

Every member of the electromagnetic radiation has commensurate amount of energy, wavelength and frequencies.

The electromagnetic waves with the shortest wavelengths and the highest frequencies are the gamma rays.

  • Gamma rays also are the most energetic electromagnetic radiation.
  • The short wavelength of gamma rays suggests that more waves passes with times.
  • It's high frequency shows that a high amount of wave passes through a point at each passing of time.
  • These factors combines to give its high energy. Energy of an electromagnetic radiation is a factor of its wavelength and frequency.
  • Gamma rays are ionizing radiations which causes ionization of gas molecules.

The rate of disappearance of HBr in the gas phase reaction2HBr(g) → H2(g) + Br2(g)is 0.301 M s-1 at 150°C. The rate of appearanc
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer: 0.151

Explanation:

Rate law says that rate of a reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of the reactants each raised to a stoichiometric coefficient determined experimentally called as order.

2HBr(g)\rightarrow H_2(g)+Br_2(g

The rate in terms of reactants is given as negative as the concentration of reactants is decreasing with time whereas the rate in terms of products is given as positive as the concentration of products is increasing with time.

Rate=-\frac{1d[HBr]}{2dt}=+\frac{1d[H_2]}{2dt}=+\frac{1d[Br_2]}{dt}

Given: -\frac{d[HBr]}{dt}]=0.301

Putting in the values we get:

\frac{0.301}{2}=+\frac{1d[Br_2]}{dt}

+\frac{1d[Br_2]}{dt}=0.151

Thus the rate of appearance of Br_2 is 0.151
