First you want to get x by it’s self so you need to get ride of your 5 so you subtract 5 on both sides leaving you with -2 and -5 on the same side then you combine those two number to get -7 now to get your x all you have to do is divide both sides by -7 since your x is -7 once once your x is now by its self but on the other side -7 divided by -7 equals 1 bc 7 goes into 7 once and it turns positive because anytime you divide an negative number by a negative number it turns into a positive number so your answer over all is 1=x

Answer:

3 + 3p

Step-by-step explanation:

since there's no equal sign or no value that it shows all of that added together is equivalent to it's not really equal to anything. However if you're asking what that equation would look like if you simplified it down , then it would be 3 + 3p because you combine the like terms

Need help solving this problem
natka813 [3]

Answer:

Part 1: \frac{11-x}{5} or \frac{11}{5}-\frac{x}{5}

Part 2: \frac{9}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

To start things off, you must put everything on the opposite side of y so that you only have the y variable left.

In this case, put x onto the other side, making it negative since it's flipped, so you get 5y=11-x (since the x is negative you're using subtraction from 11).

Next, divide both sides by 5 to make 5y into y:

\frac{5y}{5} =\frac{11}{5}-\frac{x}{5}

y=\frac{11}{5}-\frac{x}{5}

Then in this case you turn y=f(x), but the system did it for you, so all you have to put is \frac{11}{5}-\frac{x}{5}.

For the second part you must replace x with 2 since you need to find f(2).

\frac{11-2}{5}

Your answer for part 2 is \frac{9}{5}.

Riley adds 45.3 and 3.21 should his sum be greater than or less than 48 tell how you know
Romashka [77]

His sum should be more than 48.

I know because if you throw away the decimal pieces
and just add up the whole numbers  45  and  3 ,
right there you would have 48 .  So when you include
the decimal pieces, they'll make it even bigger.
