Answer:

This is a PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) question and the expected duration of completing this activity can be solved using the formula below.

Pert Expected Duration Estimate = ║Optimistic Duration + (4 x Most Likely Duration) + Pessimistic Duration║/6.

15 days = Most likely Activity Duration.

10 days = Optimistic Activity Duration

20 days = Pessimistic Activity Duration

Substituting these values, we will have

(10 +(4 X 15) +20)/6. The pert estimate is therefore calculated as 15 days

The expected duration of completing this activity = 15 days.

How does scientific knowledge develop through making observations about the natural world ?
seropon [69]
Scientific knowledge is built as people come up with hypotheses and theories, repeatedly check them against observations of the natural world and continue to refine those explanations based on new ideas and observations.

A charge Q acts on a point charge to create an electric field. Its strength, measured a distance of 40 cm away is 100 N/C. What
KIM [24]

Answer:

E_2=80N/C

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Initial Distance d_1=40cm=>0.4m

Initial Electric field strength E_1=100N/C

Final Distance d_2=20cm=>0.20m

Generally the equation for Electric field is mathematically given by.

E=\frac{kq}{d^2}

q=\frac{100*(0.4)^2}{K}

Substituting q for d=20cm

E_2=\frac{k}{0.2}*\frac{100*(0.4)^2}{K}

E_2=80N/C

Fire spreading from a wall to a nearby couch due to radiant heat transfer is an example of: Select one:
Mrac [35]

Fire spreading from a wall to a nearby couch due to radiant heat transfer is an example of heat reflectivity.

What is heat reflectivity?

When sunlight and other light sources strike a material's surface, its reflectance is measured. This number can be used to characterize a surface's characteristics in terms of surface finish. Another name for reflection is reflectivity.

This is a measurement of the amount of energy that material reflects at a specific wavelength. A value between 0 and 1 can also be used to represent reflectivity (or a percentage between 0 and 100).

Sigma and other top businesses have created a range of other forms of heat reflective fabric in the 50 years after the creation of space blankets, including Fabric and aluminum foil laminates, fabric laminates with metalized thin films.
