Answer:

The appropriate response should be of informing the client that due to absence of symptoms hypertension is known as 'the silent killer'. The client declines to take the medications but he do not know that how dangerous this disease is. Due to lack of symptoms, many of the people are not aware that they have this disease, and it develops slowly with time and can't be cured but can be controlled by diet and medications. High blood pressure could result in chronic heart diseases and even stroke, renal and arterial diseases too. So, its better to take medication to manage your body's internal conditions.

ANSWER:

This could be called many things but here is one of them:

<u>Exercise bulimia.</u>

EXPLANATION:

Exercise bulimia is a pathologic condition. Some of the characteristics of exercise bulimia are similar to bulimia nervosa. Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder in which the person starts eating excessively. This leads them to vomit and a condition called diarrhea. A person attacked with exercise bulimia doesn’t eat much. Instead, they over-exercise to burn fat and calories.

The physician provided a service to a new patient in a custodial care center. The patient is a paraplegic who has pneumonia of m
Rainbow [258]

The CPT code that best fits this case is 99325.

In healthcare, CPT codes are used to identify the types of services provided to a patient. In this way, there are different codes for diagnostic services, surgeries, etc.

In the case described, the service provided has the following characteristics:

  • The patient is new.
  • He is a custodial care center.
  • This is only a regular domiciliary visit.
  • This case is just a low complexity case.

Based on this information we can conclude:

  • The patient can be classified as a level 2 because his case is not very complex.
  • The patient is in a custodial care center rather than in his own home or hospital.
  • This is a new patient, not an established patient.

Now, the code to describe these features is 99325 because the codes 99324 to 99337 are used to describe patients in custodial care visits, and the last number (5) determines the patient is a new level 2 patient.

Note: This question is incomplete because the question statement is missing. Here is the missing section.

Add the CPT code to each situation.
