Answer:

V₂ = 0.41 L

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial volume of balloon = 0.39 L

Initial temperature = 74 F°

Final temperature = 102 F°

Final volume = ?

Solution:

First of all we will convert the temperature into K.

(74 F° - 32) ×5/9+273.15 = 296.483 K

(102F° - 32) ×5/9+273.15 =312.039 k

Now we will apply the Charles Law.

According to this law, The volume of given amount of a gas is directly proportional to its temperature at constant number of moles and pressure.

Mathematical expression:

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

V₁ = Initial volume

T₁ = Initial temperature

V₂ = Final volume

T₂ = Final temperature

Now we will put the values in formula.

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

V₂ = V₁T₂/T₁

V₂ = 0.39 L × 312.039 K / 296.483 K

V₂ = 121.7 L.K /296.483 K

V₂ = 0.41 L

Answer:

λ = 4.59 ×10⁻³ nm

Explanation:

Given data:

Energy of light = 4.33 ×10⁻¹⁴ J

Wavelength of light = ?

h = 6.626×10⁻³⁴ js

c = 3×10⁸ m/s

Solution:

Formula:

E = hc/λ

4.33 ×10⁻¹⁴ J = 6.626×10⁻³⁴ Js×  3×10⁸ m/s / λ

λ =  6.626×10⁻³⁴ Js×  3×10⁸ m/s  / 4.33 ×10⁻¹⁴ J

λ =  19.878 ×10⁻²⁶ Jm  / 4.33 ×10⁻¹⁴ J

λ =  4.59 ×10⁻¹² m

λ = 4.59 ×10⁻³ nm

How many grams of H2O are there in 6.02 x 1023 molecules of water?
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

By definition, there are 6.022×1023 such molecules, or NA such molecules in ONE mole of water. And thus in such a quantity there are NA oxygen atoms, and 2×NA hydrogen atoms...and the mass associated with this numerical quantity of water molecules is approx. 18⋅g ...
