Answer:

Boiling Water.

Explanation:

Because there is still kinetic energy in the water. Thus it has heat energy.

Marianna [84]

Answer:

972 J

Explanation:

At the bottom, all the gravitational potential energy was converted into kinetic energy. If you calculate the GPE, its value will be the same that the KE at the bottom. The GPE can be calculated this way:

GPE = mass×gravity×heigth

GPE = 2.2×9.8×45.08 ≈ 972

Describe two experiments to determine the speed of propagation of a transverse wave on a rope. You have the following tools to u
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

#See solution for details.

Explanation:

1.

Tools:stopwatch, \ meter \ stick, \ mass \ measuring \ scale , \ force \ measuring  \ device.

Experiment \ 1:Calculate the speed of the wave using the time,t it takes to travel along the rope. Rope's length,L is measured using the meter stick.

-Attach one end of rope to a wall or post, shake from the unfixed end to generate a pulse. Measure the the time it takes for the pulse to reach the wall once it starts traveling using the stopwatch.

-Speed of the pulse can then be obtained as:

v=\frac{L}{t}

Experiment \ 2: Apply force of known value to the rope then use the following relation equation to find the speed of a pulse that travels on the rope.

v=\sqrt{\frac{F}{\mu}}\ ,\mu=\frac{m}{L}

-Use the measuring stick and measuring scale to determine L,m values of the rope then obtain \mu.

-Use the force measuring constant to determine F. These values can the be substituted in Experiment \ 1 to obtain v.

A weather balloon is inflated to a volume of 26.8 LL at a pressure of 744 mmHgmmHg and a temperature of 31.2 ∘C∘C. The balloon r
elena-s [515]

Answer:

43.96 L

Explanation:

We are given that

V_1=26.8 L

P_1=744mm Hg

T_1=31.2^{\circ} C=31.2+273=304.2K

P_2=385mmHg

T_2=-14.8^{\circ}=273-14.8=258.2K

We know that

\frac{P_1V_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2V_2}{T_2}

V_2=\frac{P_1V_1T_2}{P_2T_1}

Substitute the values

V_2=\frac{744\times 26.8\times 258.2}{385\times 304.2}

V_2=43.96 L

Hence, the volume of balloon at -14.8 degree Celsius=43.96 L

How much would a 75kg man weigh due to the effect of gravity
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer: 735 N

Explanation:

Weight W is a measure of the gravitational force acting on an object and is directly proportional to the product of the mass m of the body by the acceleration of gravity g:

W=m.g

In the case of our planet Earth, the acceleration due gravity is g=9.8 m/s^{2}. So for a man whose mass is m=75 kg, his weight is:

W=(75 kg)(9.8 m/s^{2})

W=735 N
