How did many in South Carolina feel about unions after the general strike?

Answer:

The 1920s marked a period of sharp decline for the labor movement. Union membership and activities fell sharply in the face of economic prosperity, a lack of leadership within the movement, and anti-union sentiments from both employers and the government. The unions were much less able to organize strikes.

It's not really what you're looking for, but i really hope this helps!

Sincerely; Victoria<3

What does the domain typically end in on news sites like the new york times or the wall street journal?
nignag [31]

On news sites like the new york times or the wall street journal the domain end with  .com

The purpose of the domain name : it serves to identify internet resources such as computers networks and services with a text-based label that is easier to memorize than the numerical addresses used in internet protocols.

For humans, it's much easier to remember the address of a Web site using a name rather than an IP address.  IPV4 addresses were complicated but nothing compared to IPv6 addresses .  So, we came with the idea of using this central database that keeps the relationships between domain names and IP addresses.  Also, if the Web site changes address (or host), that is completely transparent to the user because he doesn't know (nor care!) what's the site's address.

"develop an argument that explains which of the three models of representative democracy - pluralism, elitism, hyperpluralism -
zheka24 [161]

Representative democracy refers to the government of people through officials that are elected to safeguard their interests. This is the type of democracy that exists in the United States (as opposed to direct democracy). However, a representative democracy can take different forms.

Pluralism is the view that recognizes diversity in thought and opinion as a basic component for peaceful coexistence. Elitism, on the other hand, is the belief that a selected group of individuals who are particularly skilled or intelligent, are more likely to run the government effectively. Lastly hyperpluralism affirms that if a state becomes too diverse, it would be divided into factions that would fight for power and the country would no longer be governable.

Out of these options, pluralism is the one that best achieves the founders' intent for American democracy. It recognizes the diversity of all citizens and allows them to participate in the political process. It also protects stability and good government.

Lori has decided to let Jen, the newest member of the team, present at the next board meeting. Jen’s ready; she just needs confi
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

Trust

Explanation:

Lori, obviously, has complete trust in Jen's ability to do this job. Otherwise, she would never let the newest member of the team present at a board meeting.

As is known, board meetings are 'formal meetings of the board of directors of an organization.' Only major problems and important issues are discussed at board meetings, so Lori is definitely exhibiting trust in Jen's ability to present well as Jen's audience will be key decision makers of their organization.

Respect and empathy are not correct choices here because you can respect a person or understand things from his or her point of view but still not believe in his/her ability to perform a challenging task.
