There are no negative consequences to using nuclear energy.
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

In Nuclear plants accidents such as explosions can occur which may lead to loss of life or severe injuries.

Nuclear energy production does not produce emissions but it produces radioactive waste which have to be stored adequately to prevent pollution. Since nuclear waste cannot be destroyed, measures have to be taken to adequately store the waste.

If the nuclear plant is being attacked, it can be used as a nuclear weapon to create disaster

What is the compound name of 3h20
Feliz [49]
Trihydrate - basically 3 molecules of water. Unless you're referring to the molecule 3H2O used in measuring the total body water in the case it tritiated water.

If 3.25 mol of Ar occupies 100. L at a particular temp and pressure, what volume does
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

435.38 L

Explanation:

From the question,

Applying ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT................... Equation 1

Where P = Pressure, V = Volume, n = number of moles, R = molar gas constant, T = Temperature.

Since Temperature and Pressure were constant,

V ∝ n

V/n = V'/n'.................... Equation 2

Where V and V'  = the initial and final Volume of Ar respectively, n and n'  = the initial and final moles of Ar respectively

make V' the subject of the equation

V' = Vn'/n............... Equation 3

Given: V = 100 L, n = 3.25 mol, n' = 14.15

Substitute into equation 3

V' = (100×14.14)/3.25

V' = 435.38 L

Nonmetals rarely lose electrons in chemical reactions because?
ziro4ka [17]
The reason for this is because nonmetals, have close to fulfilling an octet and need to gain few more electrons to do this, not to lose more. Nonmetals, because of the fact they need only few more electrons to satisfy their octet they would receive or share electrons to do this.

The property that nonmetals have are that they are very electronegative, they possess a strong affinity to pull electron density closer, because they possess fewer electron shells and possess even protons this allows for this.
