A rocket is fired at a speed of 75.0 m/s from ground level, at an angle of 60.0° above the horizontal. The rocket is fired towar
Leni [432]

Answer:

ΔH = 33.17m

Explanation:

By knowing the amount of time it takes the rocket to travel the horizontal 27m, we will be able to calculate the height when x=27m. So:

X = V_{o}*cos(60)*t   where X=27m; V_{o}=75m/s

Solving for t:

t=0.72s

Now we calculate the height of the rocket:

Y_{f}=V_{o}*sin(60)*t-\frac{g*t^{2}}{2} = 44.17m

If the wall was 11m-high, the difference is:

ΔH = 33.17m

Aplicación de las palancas en la Fisioterapia.
Anon25 [30]

nikdorinn [45]

As it stands, none of the choices is correct.

I have a hunch that you copied either #3 or #4 incorrectly.

One of those ... either choice-3 or choice-4 ... is supposed to say "<u><em>Conductors</em></u> allow electrons to flow through an object by conduction".  that would be the correct choice.

Can anybody help me solve this problem? Thank you so much!
ser-zykov [4K]
Please ignore my comment -- mass is not needed, here is how to solve it. pls do the math

at bottom box has only kinetic energy
ke = (1/2)mv^2
v = initial velocity
moving up until rest work done = Fs
F = kinetic fiction force = uN = umg x cos(a)
s = distance travel = h/sin(a)
h = height at top
a = slope angle
u = kinetic fiction
work = Fs = umgh x cot(a)
ke = work (use all ke to do work)
(1/2)mv^2 = umgh x cot(a)
u = (1/2)v^2 x tan (a) / gh
