Answer: The speed of the astronaut in this device 38.34 m/s.

Explanation:

Radius of the device ,r = 15 m

Acceleration of the device = =a_c=98m/s^2

Velocity of the astronaut in a device ,v = ?

a_c=\frac{v^2}{r}

v^2=98 m/s^2\times 15 m

v=38.34 m/s

Hence,the speed of the astronaut in this device 38.34 m/s.

The centripetal acceleration of an object is given by the relation,

Ac =V^2/R

where Ac = centripetal acceleration = 98 m/s^2

R = radius of rotation = 15 m

V = speed of astronaut

Hence, \frac{V^2}{15} =98

solving this we get, V = 38.34 m/s

The chartjunk allows you to find unnecessary elements in the chart,

  • lines on the horizontal grid
  • values in numerous at each point

Understanding the exercise is easier with a graph. See attached

The graphical representation of a set of values saves a lot of time in the data analyst, it is called chartjunk to all the unnecessary elements in a graph that do not help to understand the information represented or that are a distraction for the observer.

In the case presented we have a scatter plot with the x-axis the year of the computer and on the y-axis the number of units in millions, the graph shows two data sets the number of computers and the number of them with access to the internet depending on the year.

The lines in the horizontal grids are excessive represents chartjunk, since it does not help to understand the relationship between the data presented

Computer symbols are shown in the legend and the data to be plotted, this is important information, but in the graph at each point the values are shown in a distracting element since it is in the table and is unnecessary, therefore it's a chartjunk

A missing piece of data in the graph is a connecting line between the total number of computers.

The chartjunk allows you to find unnecessary elements in the chart,

  • lines on the horizontal grid
  • values in numerous at each point

A solid cylinder of radius 10 cm and mass 12 kg starts from rest and rolls without slipping a distance L = 6.0 m down a roof tha
inna [77]

Answer:

Explanation:

Acceleration of cylinder

a = g sin 30 / 1+ k² / r² where k is radius of gyration and r is radius of cylinder.

For cylinder k²  = (1 / 2)  r²

acceleration

= gsin30 / 1.5

= g / 3

= 3.27

v² = u² + 2as

= 2 x 3.27 x 6

v = 6.26 m /s

v = angular velocity x radius

6.26 = angular velocity x .10

angular velocity  = 62.6 rad / s

b ) vertical component of velocity

= 6.26 sin 30

= 3.13 m /s

h = ut + 1/2 g t²

5 = 3.13 t + .5 t²

.5 t²+ 3.13 t- 5 = 0

t = 1.32 s

horizontal distance covered

= 6.26 cos 30 x 1.32

= 7.15  m

Why Is It Hard For Electrons To Move Through An Insulator
Mrac [35]
An insulator is not a good source for heat or electricity to move through.  Wood is an example of an insulator. The opposite of insulator is conductor.  An example of a conductor is metal.
