A 2.500g sample of compound containing only Carbon and Hydrogen is found containing 2.002g of Carbon. Determine the empirical fo
Dima020 [189]

The empirical formula : CH₃

Further explanation

Given

2.5 g sample

2.002 g Carbon

Required

The empirical formula

Solution

Mass of Hydrogen :

= 2.5 - 2.002

= 0.498

Mol ratio C : H :

C : 2.002/12 = 0.167

H : 0.498/1 = 0.498

Divide by 0.167 :

C : H = 1 : 3

Determine whether the disruption of the bonds or attractions occurs during protein hydrolysis or protein denaturation.
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

The disruption of the bonds or attractions occurs during protein hydrolysis which results in the loss for the primacy structure. The peptide bonds is the bond affected in this scenario.

The disruption of the bonds however only exist in the process of denaturation and this results in a change in the confirmation which could be secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structural related. And example of the bonds affected include salt bridges, disulfide bridges, hydrogen bonds etc.

Where on earth did people decide they wanted to go many years ago
adell [148]

Answer:

Many years ago, people living on the Earth, desired to go to the outer space.

Explanation:

When man initiate to go outer space:

Many times ago, people used to think about the world out of Earth, the space and the sky. These thoughts generated the idea of thinking and imagining the space and the moon.

The idea turned into a movie by Georges Méliès, which was inspired by a book written by Jules Verne. The movie gave the idea to Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, a Russian man to develop many ideas which were implemented by Russia and America to build airplanes and rockets that we see launching at present.

A small though became an idea which gave birth to a new invention through which people live their dreams of going in the outer space. Incredible!
