Answer:

There is a direct relationship between the convection current, spreading of the seafloor and ocean basin formation.

During the time of divergent plate motion, two plates move in the opposite direction due to the convection current generating in the mantle layer, which forces the plates to move in the opposite way. This results in the formation of cracks on the seafloor, and with progressive motion, the seafloor spreading takes place, thereby forms a narrow type of valley, erupting the magma along with water. This, over some millions of years, turns into an ocean basin.

Thus, they are directly related to one another and are some of the major processes of plate tectonics.

Seafloor spreading occurs at divergent plate boundaries. As tectonic plates slowly move away from each other, heat from the mantle's convection currents makes the crust more plastic and less dense. The less-dense material rises, often forming a mountain or elevated area of the seafloor.

briefly explain what happens to energy and to molecules when bonds are formed and broken in molecules of ATP and ADP ( explain a
Nikolay [14]
Hello! ATP stands for adenosine triphosphate, and ADP stands for adenosine diphosphate. The difference between the two molecules is that ATP has three phosphate group, and ADP has two phosphate groups. ATP is an unstable molecule, which means it will release energy when it becomes reduced to ADP, meaning it will break off one of its phosphate groups. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions! ^-^

Why is the property of water important to organisms in Aquatic and land habitats?
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Without a water supply, organisms in aquatic and land habitats will die. Organisms without access of water cannot access oxygen, and as a result of that, they would die. Oxygen is needed for organisms in order to survive. Water also helps insulate the living environment for these organisms.

Water has the ability to store heat longer than other substances. What benefit does this property of water provide to organisms?
eduard

Answer:

B.

Explanation:

The resistance to sudden temperature changes makes water an excellent habitat, allowing organisms to survive without experiencing wide temperature fluctuation. Furthermore, because many organisms are mainly composed of water, the property of high heat capacity allows highly regulated internal body temperatures.

I'm pretty sure it's B . If I'm not I'm very sorry as I copied this from my textbook .
