What does it mean when white light is diffracted and at a particular location the color seen is blue? Please use 2 content relat
Brilliant_brown [7]

When white light is diffracted and blue color is seen is due to the absorbance of wavelength of all other color except blue.

Explanation:

 • The white light diffracts into rainbow colors which are the 7 colors present in form of VIBGYOR.
 • VIBGYOR is the violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.
 • When the blue color is seen denotes the shortest wavelength being reflected and all other being absorbed at the specified location.

Oppositely charged objects attract each other. This attraction holds electrons in atoms and holds atoms to one another in many c
GalinKa [24]

Answer and Explanation:

This can be explained as in Rutherford's model of atom the electrons orbits the nucleus which means that they will travel around the nucleus with some velocity and hence radiate electromagnetic waves which results in the loss of energy due to which the electron keeps coming closer and eventually falls into the nucleus.

But Bohr came up with a better explanation as according to the Bohr's atomic model, electrons stay fixed in orbit with certain energy in different shells around the nucleus and can only jump from an energy level to another if that specific amount of energy is supplied to it.

This model is based on the quantization of energy thus giving an explanation why electrons do not fall into the nucleus of an atom.

a glass bottle of soda is sealed with a screw cap the absolute pressure of the gas inside the bottle is 1.80*10^5 pa. assuming t
eduard

The force exerted by a pressure of any gas over a surface its given by the formula P=F/S (where P is pressure, F force and S surface).

We can multiply both sides of the formula by S to obtain the force.

P*S=(F*S)/S

P*S=F

Solve for P=1.80*10^5 Pa and S=4.10*10^-4 m^2 ([Pa] =[N/m^s])

(1.80*10^5 N/m^s) * (4.10*10^-4 m^2) =F

73.8 N =F
