emissions?
Chemistry

Answer:

It reduces the need to import goods

Explanation:

When you buy locally, the products you buy don't come from far away, so they don't have to cross the country (or the ocean) by boat, plane or trucks to reach the market/store where you're buying, at least not from a long distance away.

The distance a vehicle travels, the less CO2 emissions it produces.

If the good you're buying is made/produced only an hour away, that's not much pollution produced compared as if the good has to come from a distant place spending days on highways to reach you.

How many grams of sulfur are in 3.54 g of H2S?
ira [324]

Answer:

3.329 g

Explanation:

First you need to determine the molar mass of H2S which is 34.1 g/mol.

With that we know that to find the moles of H2S we just divide the mass of sample with the molar mass.

3.54 g / 34.1 g/mol = 0.103812317 mol of H2S

This means that there is also 0.103812317 mol of sulfur since there is 1 mole of sulfur per 1 mole of H2S.

The molar mass of sulfur is 32.065 g/mol and to find the mass of sulfur you need to multiply the molar mass with the moles of the compound.

0.103812317 mol * 32.065 g/mol = 3.329 g of sulfur

Let me know if you get something else or if something is unclear in the comments so that we can figure it out.

What is the word eletrovent
djyliett [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Electrovalent is a word often associated with chemical bonding in the field of chemistry. It is special type of bond that occurs between metals and non-metals.

These bond types are interatomic interactions occurring between two atoms to ensure that they attain stable configurations.

 • This bond type is also known as ionic bonds.
 • It occurs between two species with a large electronegative diffference i.e one specie is electropositive and the other highly electronegative.
 • The more electropositive specie is metal and it readily loses its valence electrons.
 • The electronegative non-metal gains the electrons and becomes negatively charged.
 • The electrostatic attraction between the metal and non-metals yields the electrovalent bonds.

Which process maintains homeostasis by replacing cells that die or get damaged? A. Cell division B. Cell respiration C. Exceptio
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

Cell division

Explanation:

 • Cell division helps maintain homeostasis in living things since it creates new cells which can be used for growth and repair.
 • Cell division occurs into two types, meiosis and mitosis . During mitosis, the cell creates two identical daughter cells that are identical to the parent cell, in terms of the number of chromosomes.
 • These new cells are necessary to replace old cells that die in the organism, or to repair damage to the body.
